Founded in 2011, Al Saleem Arabians is one of the oldest Arabian Horse Studs in Pakistan.

The stud initially began breeding by acquiring Army Mares that were WAHO registered. Later on two stallions were imported and then came the process of breeding army mares to these stallions. In the next step the stud imported fillies and mares and now breeds a very fine and exclusive collection of the finest straight Egyptian Arabian Stallions and Mares.

The stud spans over an area of 56 kanals and has accommodation of over 24 horses. Stables have been designed to be airy and have plenty of light. We do not believe in keeping horses unnaturally in air conditioners and we believe that such expenses cannot be justified.

After the completion of his EMBA Degree from LUMS he founded The Drakken School in 2017 and laid the foundation of Drakken Shahsawars. He has recently started work on his own clothing and leather brand – Asasiyun by OS. Moreover, he is in the process of writing a book on Arabian Horses which is expected to hit the market soon.

“I named Al Saleem Arabians after my late father who left this world due to liver cancer. For me horses are a passion and to breed the horses whose lines connect to the desert and maybe carry the blood of the horses of our Prophet (SAW) and his Sahabah (RA) is a dream come true. To promote this breed in Pakistan was a challenge which I have managed to do. Alhumdullilah. Arabian Horses can now be found in every corner of this country and I am proud of what has been accomplished.

For new people who would want to breed Arabians for business reasons, I would advise against it. Do not get involved with horses if you do not have passion. Only passion will guarantee success. For those who have passion and love the breed, I would advise you to buy carefully. Do a lot of research and reading and try to avoid buying in a rush. Do some research not only on the horse but also the seller and I am sure you will reach to the right conclusion.

Never buy keeping color in mind. Black Arabians are highly priced, yet most of them are low quality horses with average pedigrees. The first priority should be the conformation of the horse itself – irrespective of the color. The second priority should be the pedigree, third the disposition and fourth the age. Color should never be considered.

My detailed book will be completed soon and apologize to all those who have booked it in advance and are still waiting. However, if there is any information anyone would like to take regarding horses esp Arabians you can contact me on my contacts given below.

Best of Luck ! “
